What is the deal with Twilio and International SMS? -

i've been working twilio program sms functionality on app, , seems twilio works best numbers , not international numbers. i've done research , have learned august 16th fiasco resulted inthe sms functionality being shut off twilio. through testing have learned international carriers not supported twilio. of friends abroad aren't receiving twilio sms messages.

can provide further insight issue? international sms supported twilio? if not, how many carriers , ones supported? there better sms service provider can guarantee full support if not more prevalent carriers internationally?

  • twilio phone numbers can send , receive sms available in us, canada , uk.
  • us , canadian numbers can send , receive 190 countries on 1,000 carriers. see pricing each country , carrier per message, check out page: https://www.twilio.com/sms/pricing
  • uk numbers can send , receive sms reliably within uk. numbers geographic, international carriers not allow messages sent or received them. might possible root cause of deliverability issues experienced.
  • all other phone numbers make available in other countries have support twilio voice - these numbers cannot send or receive sms @ all.

i'm not aware of sms related incident on 16 august, though did have intermittent service interruption week before on 9 august lasting little under 90 minutes. future reference, communicate our service issues on independently hosted status board here: http://status.twilio.com/ issue, root cause , resolution posted there review.

web - SVG not rendering properly in Firefox -

i have problem svg renderring in firefox. whilst works in safari, chrome or in ie, doesn't work in firefox. inspecting element seems layers there, background visible if it's z-index higher z-index of others. rendered in firefox: svg logo in firefox link original source file: svg file thanks help. ps: used sketch 3 export svg. if helps somehow. you're experiencing bug 995813 . i fixed bug time ago change still making way through release process example display correctly firefox 31 onwards released on 22 july 2014. in meantime if move fill="white" <mask> element child <use> element work around firefox bug.
